Our Space3

Our purpose is to create a peaceful space -- a place where you can find your center and warm your spirit. A space to engage in conversations with friends and develop a shared sense of community. A learning space where artists exhibit and creativity flourishes.

Our Goal

We are committed to developing multicultural friendship and understanding. We hope that our guests will enjoy the mindful and friendly interactions that are often observed in the tea cultures of the world -- as they share tea and wisdom in an open and gentle environment. We offer opportunities for learning and mellow entertainment that crosses cultural and geographic boundaries.

How We Serve

We view each guest as a treasure to be honored and assisted, humbly and with the intention that all who enter can participate freely in building community ‘one conversation at a time.’

What We Serve: Books, Teas, Gifts & Arts

All of our offerings are designed around a common sense of purpose – to foster a space that enables community, friendship, respect for the environment, and an active interest in promoting multicultural understanding and non-violent ways of being.

In order to provide this space, we deliver services and products that will enable us to support these goals.

Books

We sell only books that we believe are consistent with the values of peace, friendship, developing creativity and building multicultural understanding.

Tea

“Tea is liquid wisdom.” Serving tea is an essential part of inhabiting this space. Come sip tea slowly and take time to experience the beauty of its flavor and aroma while sitting in a two hundred year old barn set along a quiet stream.2

Gifts

We carry gift items and cards, such as candles, scented soaps, journals, prayer mala, handmade jewelry, and fair-trade crafts, all consistent with the environment we seek to build.

Arts

We are enriched by the efforts of various local artists who place their art here for you to enjoy and purchase and by the talent of many local musicians who play real good for free (and for your generous donations).

Warm Stones Café

We nourish you through the Warm Stones Café where we serve food that is fresh and locally-sourced (when possible) in support of your health and well-being.
